## Free access and licences

Searching, browsing task categories, reading guides, and opening source links are free. Agent subscriptions, API calls, and third-party services may have separate costs. Public availability does not establish an open-source licence. Repository and file-level terms can differ; Anthropic's pdf and docx examples have custom file-level terms.

## Search controls

- keyword relevance across the skill name, description, creator, repository, and excerpt;
- popularity or recent-update ordering;
- category, occupation, and content-language filtering;
- stable pagination with a maximum page size of 50;
- name and description matching.

## Safety

A public repository can still contain unsafe or unsuitable instructions. Before installing a community Agent Skill, inspect its instructions, scripts, permissions, network calls, filesystem behavior, recent activity, and license.
